One of the most dangerous times is in the first few laps of a race. Everyones stacked up two by two, people are trying to make a move.
The deleware double file restarts with a leader out front maybe cool in USRA and USMTS races if thats what your into, they have fenders and can lean on each other. What if u got guys jumping? Are you also going to police that, black flag guys, call the start back drag your program along and then keep everyone later then they have to already....
I'm not sure it would keep the program moving along, not trying to step on anyones toes by voicing concern and adding my own input.
It's your track, we went to a race and where asked if we wanted to start the feature three abreast we said no. LOL
But with times as hard as they are, and car count to put on good racing that keep drivers coming back and also keep the fans coming back to watch there favorite driver. You'd hate to see restarts that tore up race cars, I'd like to see everyone roll onto the trailer safe looking forward to racing again the following weekend.
Best of luck!
The cone rule on restarts is a good idea it's pretty cut and dry you don't pass untill you drive past the cone it keeps everybody honest and keeps the racing fair.
