gear question
gear question

i am currently running a 02 yamaha r6 and i race on a 1/8th mile track.my gear ratio is 12.50. im switching to a 08 honda rr and i am wondering if i should run the same gear ratio or if i should run lower or higher?

I think you would be close enough with that gear to get started. From there it should only take a couple of times on the track to find out what gear your motor really likes.

How far apart are the max Rpm's on both motors ?

i believe the yamaha was 15000 and the honda was 15300 or the other way around. i got the sheets off of guhls website.
