TO THE FRONT!

Postby Gaerte » Tue Mar 02, 2010 1:11 pm

We just got back from a great trip to FL and couldnt have topped it off any better than the run we seen from Brian Roseman Sat. night at Eastbay!

Anyone that has ever been knows what a joke the format is "heats off the draw- feature lined up off the heat finish (no passing pionts, no reward for being fast) hope you draw good and if you dont be faster than you ever have in your life in the heat and you might start mid pack".

Well Brian started dead last "11th" in his heat and passed 7 cars making him start 19th in the feature. While waiting to go out on the track for the feature I ask Brian what he planned to do from way back here. He pionted forward and said "GO TO THE FRONT" anyone thats ever ran at Eastbay knows that once the feild gets rolling and the lap cars get mixed in its not easy to make up 5 or 6 spots running with the 750's let alone 18. I headed up to the stands to see the race, they went green and Brian was taking a car about every 3 laps. Half way piont Brian was running about 12th I think, I was starting to just hope for 5th or 6th when Brian took the car about 30 feet higher than the rest of the feild putting it on the fence with 3 to go Brian was passing Travis Senter for 2nd right when the last yellow came out with 2 laps left Brian took his spot in 3rd TO THE FRONT of the feild and thats were he finished. When we talked to him after the race he said I told you I was going TO THE FRONT lol and he did. If you were there with your eyes on the 13x car you know how cool it was for those that didnt get to see it I am trying to find video.

Yeah, I was watching on racecastlive.com and they only showed him a few times. One of those shots, it looked like he was picking them off faster than that, but you couldn't tell which cars were lappers & which ones were for a position. Anyway, I noticed. Good run Mr. Roseman!!!

Thank's Dean for your report on sat. nights race.. It was alot of fun but without Gaerte Micro motors, Stallard Chassis, and Guhl injection, we wouldn't have finished where we did. My pa legal 08 Gaerte suzuki was awesome all week. Horsepower was never an issue. I also want to thank Stallard chassis and Don Guhl for their continued tech. support. Dean didn't mention we finished third in points for the winter national series. Thanks, Gaerte Micro Motors, Stallard Chassis, and Guhl Motors.
